“When life is tough and you’re faced with defeat, remember that flowers can bloom in concrete”.

Wellbeing isn’t just a state of mind, it’s about your health, happiness, life and more.
At St Robert’s, we recognise that each person is an individual.  We have all been blessed with different strengths and qualities.  We will all face overwhelming obstacles from time to time.  It’s being able to find the strength to persevere and overcome these that’s important.
This tool is designed to provide supportive links for children and parents.  We hope you will find the items useful and welcome any recommendations that you may feel will be helpful.

St Robert's Super Savers is a great way of teaching your children the value of money.  Saving can be one of the greatest things you can do for your wellbeing. Accomplishing your money goals can make you feel good and give you a sense of achievement.  Saving regularly can help our children feel a sense of accomplishment when they buy that long awaited item or have spending money for a day out.
Please see the details below if you would like to open an account(s) for your child/children and they can get saving right away with Bridgend Credit Union.

SHWMAE Day at St Robert's.
15th October 2021
At St Robert's we have celebrated our welsh culture and acknowledged we are part of a language that belongs to everybody, fluent speakers and learners alike.  We have enjoyed learning new songs, learning about and baking welsh food, having welsh conversations with our school family and more.  Having fun and trying something different from time to time has the power to re-energise our minds and bodies.

FUNDRASING FOR CAFOD!
On Thursday 21st October 2021, St Robert's held a GO GREEN AND GIVE DAY in order to raise money for CAFOD.
We raised nearly £150 and the proceeds went to support communities around the world who are protecting the planet.
Community fundraising benefits on wellbeing...
Communication skills. Community fundraising helps build your relationships with people. It makes you feel needed in the community.
Teamwork. Organising or participating in a fundraising event helps a great deal with building teamwork skills.
Learn new skills. Being involved in a community fundraising can benefit in learning new skills.
Help contribute to a good cause. Everyone loves the sense of achievement. You are giving up your time and effort and you will change someone’s life for the better.  In this case hopefully contributing to saving the planet for us all.
